Help Am I crazy or what? Patrol Problems

Ok I have played Harpoon classic for a long time. Purchased the Commander Edition. Installed etc everything works find except can't launch a patrol as soon as I select patrol and click were I want it to go the game freezes and I have to exit the game. As long as I don't launch patrol all is fine?????? What am I doing wrong?
