Pilot pools

Post by IS2m »

Hello all.

Question on the replacement pilot pools: I have several good (70+ exp) Dutch pilots in my replacement pools (disbanded groups, recovering from wounds, etc.). Are all of my Dutch pilots going to be sitting in limbo when the last NEI air group is disbanded or destroyed?. I realize that a lot of those men would have been taken prisoner IRL, but what about the ones (if any) who escaped?

Can pilots fly for air groups of different nationalities? (Eg: Czech and Polish pilots flying for the RAF in Europe)

Did this happen very often in the Pacific Theatre?

Thanks in advance.

I believe at least one RAAF squadron has Dutch pilots.

N0.18 RAAF arrives 4/42 is Dutch
No.19 RAAF arrives 45 is Dutch
No.119 RAAF arrives 9/43 is Dutch

It says they're Dutch. They've got Dutch names. Might be, perhaps, maybe they're Dutch.[:)]

Might be the same as No. 488 RAF.  It was formed as RAF by New Zealand pilots rather than RNZAF. In the game it is labeled RAF and has New Zealand coloring.  One more example of the strong work by the creators AE.
