MAC Version

Post by mking55 »

Hi there.

I have been playing PureSim off and on for several years and enjoy the game. I just bought a MAC to replace my PC. Is there a MAC version for the game? If not, can I get it to run on a MAC without having a Windows operating system?

Thanks in advance for the answers.

I actually do a lot (30%-40%) of PureSim's development on a MacBook Pro running OS X. In order to run PS on a Mac you need to get either Parallels or VMWare Fusion. The other option is to use Bootcamp and boot into Windows on your Mac at startup.

I love Parallels and have had no problems with it. I'd say if the developer of the game uses it you shouldn't worry. The downside is you will need to have a Windows XP/Vista/7 copy to install into Parallels.

I am looking into another product called crossover, but PS chokes in that.

I do all my Puresim gaming and Mod work on a MacBook Pro using Parallels as well.
