new essex class cv's

If you manage to make it to 43 without losing any allied carriers you get several new essex cvs with names like yorktown II and Hornet II. Is there anyway to rename these ships as its kinda confusing to have a yorktown and a yorktown II on the map at the same time.

Yes. It's in the manual. You can rename those ships (and only those ships with historic names followed by "II")
