minor glitch when unit renames

Post by jcjordan »

I noticed a minor glitch/bug when a unit reaches a date when it renames. This happened to me when the 31st US FG units become the 35th US FG on Jan 15th. I had a fragment of repairing a/c of one unit at a base & the next turn the main unit renamed but the fragment stayed the 31st FG. I then transferred the repaired a/c of the fragment to the main unit base, still some repairing though. So I had the following - the main unit was a 35th FG squadron w/ a 31st FG fragment at Townsville along w/ a fragment of unrepaired a/c at Rockhampton that then changed it's name to 35th FG when I transferred the repaired a/c to Townsville all from the same original squadron of the 31st FG. I assume this might have the same problem w/ any land units but only noticed this in this instance.

One thing I've also noticed when combining fragments of the same unit is that sometimes it only allows you to disband the pilots/planes (sometimes destroy) to the pool instead of the parent unit but if you let the turn go on it will combine w/ parent during the turn.
