Nevermind !

The Seven Years’ War was fought across the globe and called by some the first “World War” as virtually every major power participated. In the center of events was Prussia, almost constantly at war and lead by the now legendary Frederick the Great.

Relive the exciting and trying days of Frederick the Great in Horse and Musket: Volume I, the improved and expanded combination of the previous Prussian War Machine and Prussia’s Glory titles. Horse and Musket: Volume I is a reboot of the successful Horse and Musket series, including not only two solid historical titles in one package, but also many new game features, a powerful new editor, and a complete graphics overhaul to an already acclaimed gaming system.

Sarge,
very nice looking.

One of the great features of the game is how easy it is to mod.

Much easier on the eyes. Can actually discern units with the new grass.

Nice! Thank you Sarge! I can see elevations much better like this also. Nothing against the old textures, just my color-blindness I think.

Actually I just forgot to mention I made another terrain set for HnM3, though I don´t think these were included into the game. Should I upload the file here, it is much less grass detail to it and looks more like tabletop gaming grass.

Magnus:
Please, the current grass is to "busy" and makes it hard to clearly see things.

Hi Magnus,

Please do.  I echo Panama Red's opinion -- but in my case I think the problem may be old eyes.

Thanks in advance.[8D]

To anyone who has a mod, if it's small enough, zip it up and post it in the mod sub-forum. Otherwise, if it's <10Mb you can e-mail it to me and I can post it in our Members Club. If it's > 10Mb send me a download link and I can post it in our Members Club.

Great idea, looks a lot better zoomed out, and should also look less horrendous when stretched to a different AR.

However, and I know this is mostly taste, and thus not really important, the grass looks too "modern" to me - that is, it's too close to olive drab, and I associate that with camouflage, not with 18th century pastures...
