Quick Japanese Dec 7 OOB Question

I am finding only 3 para capable units: 1st and 2nd Yokosuka on Formosa, and the 1st Raiding Regt (which is really a BN), located at Kagoshima. There is no 2nd Para Rgt. like in WITP, correct?

Just checking, making sure I am finding them all.

Side note for JFB's, what are your plans for the Paras?

2nd Raiding (Parachute) Rgt arrives in January 1942.

In the early stages of the game I use the Paras mostly as (kind of) rapid reaction force (positioning them at a central location and dropping them if one of my smaller invasions meets stiffer resistance than expected; speeds up things).

Their function was coup de main, particularly at Palembang. If the Allied player abandons a major city to allow the natives to trash it, time for the Paras! Once the city is taken, the Japanese player needs to fly in light infantry and fly out the paras for the next city.

We did this in our 2X2 AAR with John3rd in WITP. It worked very well.

Herwin's idea is very good one: Have them at the ready to drop on Batavia/Soerbaya, if the Allies are going to trash it. Soerbaya in particular has alot of goodies that need to be saved.
