Devlopment Question

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

Devlopment Question

Post by ratters72 »

Hi COGEE people,

I recently bought COGEE and have been able to work out most things. But just a quick question on developments in provinces. I'm pretty meticulous when it comes to making sure that if i'm not developing anything then i will not have any resource points dedidcated in the develpoment box. I say this because I assume that these points are lost if you aren't actually developing. Is that correct? And if so, it'd be nice if the points could be evenly distributed across the other fields, so not to waste them and have to check all the time.

Side note: Just wanted to say thanks for a great game. I played the original COG and could see the potential. In a world gone mad with RTS games and games with very poor AI and lots of eye candy (you didn't get my money this time SEGA) it is good to see a bit of sanity prevail . I recently upgraded my PC to something compatible with NASA but find myself drawn to this game over many others with budgets times a thousand more. Anyway, better stop now in case I get labelled a fanboy. [:)]
Will insert when I come up with something witty

Hey Ratters! Welcome to COGEE. It's a great PBEM game if you have a dedicated group! It's been years since I've had this much fun with a multiplayer game!
Anyway, to anwser your question: Go to the economic guide provided with the patch. I found it to have a wealth of information, and really allowed me to get control of the Turkish economy that I'm running in my present email game.
