Is there any chance we can get the lahmanps.mdb file to not be installed with an update unless something in the file actually changes ? I just upgraded from 1.80 to 1.84 beta3 and had my custom database wiped out again by the install.

Mental note to self: make a copy of the database before installing any patches

Sorry to pick on you, Nukester, but you really didn't have your customized Lahman database backed up in another location?

LOL I thought I did, and I kind of do, but it didnt work when importing for some reason. I didnt backup the entire database, only the tables that are modified within the database (master, batting, fielding, pitching). When I copied those tables into the database and tried to start a league, it wouldnt import. Im sure Ill figure it out

Ok I did have a complete backup of the database, but it still wont import in the game. I get a "runtime error 3021 No current record" error. Grrrrrr
