computer controlled theaters

In the old version of Pacific War a person could click on the globe icon at the top and access the world in a partioned way so that you can assign the computer the task of handling the Ausies, Chinese, or British in India. Now I see that ablility is gone-at least from that icon.
How can I assign the computer the task of handling these?
Also, I don't seem to be able to transport any infantry from either N.Z. or Austrailia. What am I doing wrong?
