Joseph T Dickman

Post by Chet Guiles »

Allies are supposed to withdraw the good old JTD in about 30 days, and it was enroute for an off-map port where I am told It is possible to withdraw such ships. But by an unfortunate coincidence the IJN's brave pilots (from a wandering CV task force) hit the poor Joseph T with Kates and Vals and sank the poor old thing.

Question: When the due date for withdrawl comes, do I start losing political points every month because it was not "withdrawn"?

Anybody have a similar experience?

If a ship is sunk you are freed of all withdrawal requirements and penalties. Specifically, if Joseph Dickman is sunk you will NOT lose any political points.

Thanks. That's sort of what I figured when the JTD stopped showing up on the withdrawl list.
