Keylog and changes..

Post by bOrIuM »

Hi, I just saw on my game that there is a new feature to tell anyone how many times you reloaded a game. Thats a nice new feature, but I think it doesnt solve a problem : cant change what you did. I have to exemples.

1- When you reinforce, you cant replace a corps or units in the counter pool if you placed them on the map, then if you change your mind you have to reload.
2- When land phase the automatic button helps you calculate the cost of moves. We should be able to redo anything in land phase (before combat of course!), as long as it is not manually foraged. Now you can undo a movement, but not if it dropped units in a city or something. Sometimes I like to change moves whe I see its too expensive cause I usualy let the game calculate it.

Anyway, it something I always hated in the computer game.. undo what you just did, until you say you're done (ie. press the done button or use manual forage).

This was really why I am only letting everybody know about reloading and not preventing it BUT this could be a problem in PBEM games if someone is reloading their land/combat phase mutliple times to get better rolls BUT this should be an issue in 1.07+ since all rolls will be prerolled so reloading should do nothing.
Thank you
