Core Army

First off, very nice game, I like the PeG mechanics. How large of a core army can I have? Do I only get core units in the recruitment screen of the battle?

At the start of each battle, you can improve your core units or recruit new ones. There is no limit to how many core units you can have, other than your resources (which are what you use to recruit/improve and replenish your units).

How about the core units in the grand campaign?Since you dont actually have time inbetween individual battle scenarios like PG to buy and upgrade, do you do it during the game itself or is there a seperate mechanic for that?

You can buy/upgrade right at the start of each scenario in the campaigns.

The Soviet campaign goes from 41-45. The German campaigns cover 41 and 42.

Thanks , but what i meant was is it like PG where it was individual operations like stalingrad, moscow etc etc or just one very long scenario..

Also not to thrilled to hear the German camp only covers 41,42...

  • German Operation Barbarossa Campaign (June 22 - December 9, 1941) - Bialystok, Minks, Kishinev, Uman, Leningrad, Kiev, Vyazma, Volokolamsk, Moscow
  • Soviet Great Patriotic War Campaign (November 28, 1941 - May 2, 1945) - Moscow, Kalinin, Stalingrad, Leningrad, Kursk, Dniepr, Minsk, Vistula-Oder, Berlin
  • German Case Blue Campaign (June 28 - August 27, 1942) - Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Maikop, Mozdok
  • Individual Scenarios - Drive on Stalingrad 1942, Dubno-Brody 1941, Kharkov 1943, Vyazma 1941, Wintergewitter 1942, Zitadelle 1943, Berlin 1945, Autumn 1943 (Multiplayer), Smolensk 1941 (Multiplayer), Kharkov 1943 (Multiplayer), Kishinev 1941 (Multiplayer), Summer 1944 (Multiplayer)

The campaigns are linked battles, where your performance in each one affects your resources to recruit/improve/upgrade as you move on to the next. It's like PG, rather than a single large scenario.
