Naval Attack

Hi all......unbeleivable GAME Good work and only a true ww2 buff could appreciate the depth of research My questions is how do i get my planes to attack naval targets. I set naval attack but the planes just sit at the base each turn....at multi airbases.

Make sure the range is >0. What type of planes and what size airfield?

Also are there supplies and are escorts available?

When i select naval attack it does not allow me to select target except for secondary mission . It happened at pearl with escorts etc .....is this normal?
Also how do I use AR's? Finally if I pulled all my troops back to US would Japan launch a attack on Mainland
