AE ship withdrawal damage limits

Post by hbrsvl »

Hi- I thought I saw a post on this, but can't find it.

What are the damage limits for a ship being withdrawn? If a 10K+ ton troop ship has, say, 5 sys damage, will/can it withdraw? Same question for floatation and fire.

What if the ship were a 1500 ton DD?

In other words, what are not to exceed damage limits for a ship to withdraw? If there is a manual citation, I'd appreciate knowing it.

Thanks, Hugh Browne

I think I read in the manual that damage doesnt matter. But when you get the ship back, it will be the normal time you should get it back, plus the repair time added. So instead of on June 1, 1943, if a ship needs say 10 days of repairs/upgrades, you will get it back on June 11, 1943.

i could be wrong, but I am almost certain I read that in the manual.
