Multiple downloads and a few questions...

Post by Piggy »

Im wondering if I purchase the digital copy of WITP:AE if I can install it on two machines, meaning download it twice?

On one machine Im using the RC version of Win7, will WITP:AE work on Win7?

Will it support 1680x1050 res?

Looks like a hell of a game, one that will make me call in sick from time to time...[:-]

Thanks

You don't have to download it twice to install it on two machines, if there your machines and you are using them. If one is for somebody else then yes you do.

I'm using Window 7 on my laptop, Vista x32 on my desktop and I've had it going on XP.

Don't know about the res.

And be prepared to be ill for a very long time[:D]

Res is 1024x728, so if you run it full screen, it will adjust. I you run it windowed, be prepared for a 6"x 6" box

Both my machines, I suppose what your saying is I copy the files to a CD for a second install? (not that I care about long download times, was just curious).

Good to hear about Win7, the other rig is running XP.

Screen will adjust, so it will "stretch" for widescreen?

Yes it will stretch...

And burn the install file to a disc as a standard preservation procedure anyway...and the Matrix rule as read will allow installation on multiple machines but under the understanding that you will be only using one at a time.

When you down load from DR you'll be down loading an installer file and on the down load screen your serial number is given so copy sr to a text file and save to temp directory and save the installer to the same temp directory then burn both files to a cd and install to both machines using the cd.

Yup install as many as you want as long as they're all your computers and only you will be playing.
AE installed in my laptop and desktop and I move the save file around depending on where I want to play it.
