interesting situation in the Balkans

Post by gwgardner »

I started a 'hands-off' game, playing only Portugal, from '39 up to June '41. I basically was trying to see how the German and USSR AI prepared for Barbarossa.

I have now hit F12 and taken over Germany, Hungary, Romania. The rest of the Axis is still AI.

An interesting situation has developed in the Balkans, where the Italian invasion of Greece has seriously backfired, and the Greeks and British are moving north against a combined Italian, German, and Bulgarian force. Since I've taken over the Germans, I'm not sending a lot of extra troops to the Balkans. My commander there will have to deal with the situation. I have bigger problems in the East.
