Zoomed Out Unit Values

Post by NefariousKoel »

Since the change to the unit values in 1.60, when I zoom out, the numbers are much smaller than they used to be.

Can that be looked at? (No pun intended)

You can change size (also position and color if you like) of those values by just editing text file (appearance.csv) in skin directory that you are using. If you don't understand what values are there, I made an example appearance file with more detailed description of each line and value, so anyone can modify skins anyway he wants. If you need any help you can ask in mod thread, sure someone will answer.

Do you mean you can make one, or is there one available already? I would really like such a file since there's still some figures I don't understand.

Ux, it's only a matter of tweaking the appearance.csv file.
Once I'm back @ work tomorrow, I should have a new unit mod ready to go.
just edit in notepad...it's a snap.

In this thread: tm.asp?m=2216887 is attached zip file (I'm sure you already downloaded it). In this archive is example appearance.csv, there is more description than in regular skins added to game.

Yes, you're right. I did download this zip; stupidly, I never read the apparence-file, thinking it was no use without the patch. Didn't realize there were a lot of info in it.

I haven't applied the patch in my proper computer yet for fear of loosing ongoing PBEM:s. But I think I will now.
