Seeking Clarification:

TAC Air units cannot attack fighters in any way?[&:]

They can attack enemy airbases. The action box should illuminate that action when visible enemy air bases are in range.

Playing the Campaign Game - Axis - 1st turn I discovered the Polish Air Units near Warsaw, the German TAC near Koenigsberg is within range (exactly 11 hexes) of the PAF FTR but cannot bomb it even though the option is highlighted.

Ya got me there! I've eliminated enemy air, so I know it works sometimes. [8|]

Tactical bombers can attack only land units within range and fleets.
Strategic bombers can attack enemy cities and use nuke.
Fighters can attack enemy air units.

I had it backwards. I've attacked tactical bomber bases with fighters.....

OK, am I wrong weren't German Stukas involved in neutralizing enemy air forces. After which they were available for ground support. Thereby making the Blitzkrieg as devastating as it was. Is there no way of representing this?[:D]
