Initial feedback on 1.60 patch

Post by willgamer »

I just completed the first month of the grand campaign on normal (Poland surrendered on 24-Sept.).

The (updated) patch 1.60 is rock solid so far! [:)]

The fixes have definitely improved the gameplay experience and the code seems to have been optimized for faster execution.

IMHO, this game has risen to "could become a classic" status.

There's so much for veteran boardgamers to fall in love about with 2D, highly zoomable, top down, lots of hexes maps, linked events, and very moddable game. [:D] Plus responsive developers. [&o]

Really reminds me of my youthful excitement with Tactics II. [X(]

Thanks Guys!

Yes I have to agree, this is something I've been looking for and for quite some time. While I have noticed some graphic issues with the report menus (could be just me!) it plays fine so far.

I love the zoomable map,(changing back and forth from flags to nato icons, great!)

1.60 air unit menu is better than before especially attacking ground units, but I kind of miss bombing cities with the right mouse.I had just gotten use to it and now it's gone,be careful what you wish for I guess!

As you've said "could become a classic" let's hope so,I can't agree more!

Of course I meant to say clicking on the right panel not right mouse click!
