action not shown

I dont know if I should have put this thread under tech support but I like Blecks answers and he gets right back to you. I have Germany Italy and Finland under human control, when the AI [Russia] attacks Finland and my monitor's picture is in Germany the action is not shown on my monitor it remains in Germany [hope I am explaining myself properly] also when its Germany's turn for action I cant see the Finish troops in Finland if I scroll there, am I doing something wrong or is that the way the game is programed.

This is how it supposed to work.
Enemy units are not visible if they are out of your units field of vision (Fog of War in options menu). If you can't see them normally during your turn then you won't see them performing actions. In other words - view is centered on enemy unit only when this unit is in your field of vision (also there should be no sounds, but we already know that there is one or two that is played every time particular action is taken).
