Turkish neutrality

What's the reasoning behind having turkey remain neutral, after being attacked?

In my PBEM Germany just atacked, Turkey is a firm democracy, but is still neutral.

Re Turkey my guess: Gallipoli 1915 - Churchill has seen to it that they don't like the Western Allies all that much. I understand there was even hope for Germany to win the Turks as Axis partners as the USSR was a common enemy.

It has been always like that with Finland and Turkey since old RtV days.

Haha, much to my glee and your dismay, I'm sure, by event the Turks have just joined the Allies.

Still have one problem which looks like a bug - couldn't deploy any Turk units, because it said none of the deployment sites was in contact with the main supply source, which should be Ankara. Perhaps this is a first turn problem? Stay tuned.

We have to make the Axis regret their attack on another neutral.

Darn - those events. It is indeed highly unfortunate.

I believe this is only in turn one. You will get your units on the ground next turn.

Regretting it already.
