Wont Start Division by Zero error

I applied the patch.

Now, I can't run the game.

I try to start it, but as soon as I hit "play" I get a multitude of error windows, "error, division by zero" then the game shuts down.

Help!

I've had something similar happen when I played with the screen resolution. Have you installed a new graphics card recently or changed the screen resolution?

Yes, I downloaded new graphics card drivers from Nvidia, and in the process, my screen resolution changed

I have been experimenting wiit it.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Same division by zero error.

Then, I uninstalled the game, changed my graphics resolution back to 1680 x 1050 (down from 1920 x 1200)

Then I reisnstalled the game. It worked.

Then, I changed the defaut font size to large, from regular. Tried the game again, got the division by zero error.

I'm going to uninstall it again, change the defaullt font size to large, and try re-installing it again.

OK, tried fresh install. I didn't get a division by zero error, but the windows were all messed up (could only see a corner of the game screen.)

So, I uninstalled, changed the windows default font size back to normal, tried a new install, and EIA works properly again.

So, it appears that if you change screen resolutions, you get the divide by zero error, and if you use something larger than the Windows standard font, the game screen is messed up.

Not sure why the screen res would cause any issue here??? I will grab control of the screen and set it to 1024x768. Maybe if your monitor could not support that res (Highly unlikely) then it could be a problem but I've not seen that. As far at the font, I am installing a font on your system and I have seen that when the installer installs the font then sometimes a reboot will complete the font addition and you should see the windows better! Let me know...
