The FOW is very heavy in this game....surely you can claim 1 ship sunk between 5/6 sunk reports.[:D]
Be careful. In my game the BB Prince of Walles was reported sunk three times in three different locations.

Hello Fremen !
Absolutely agree, Prince of Walles was reported sunk by 22nd Air Flotilla, and several days after, I-154 reports spoted her heading SW sailing slowly (about 1-2 hex per day), heavily escorted (I-154 was forced to surface and sunk by 14" gunfire).
But Yamamoto must to answer the IGHQ request for info about ship sunks [:D]
PS: As you can see Yamamoto did not consider the PoW sunk in his report.

Ciao Blind Sniper
I am awaiting for Jan 1st to begin with R&D factories, but probably I will assume to increase Ki-61 Tony and Ki-44 Tojo factories. Fighters are my absolute priorities, but I am studying about losses / production / pool / Sqdrns needed before take heavy decisions in this area.

Thanks Fletcher, I will follow your game!

At the moment I am setting my first turn as Japanese and I will not research anything but fighters too, maybe TB and DB for carriers...

I am still trying to figure out how managing the convoy system, quite a few of ships involved [X(]
I need more escorts therefore I am converting some AK's to PB's and I am thinking to build some base as ASW points. This game is a second job [:D]

Ciao Blind Sniper.
I am agree with you about this game is like a second job [:D]. I am converting 2 xAKL and I will convert two more this month (for a total of 4 in Decemeber). Japanese are short for escort duties but you have the 12th Air Flotilla in Japan and several usefull Cha Type Subchassers than can help. I am sending my convoys using the waypoints tool (sailing by the shallow waters near the coast and supported by subchasser and air ASW patrols), it is slow, but more secure. I am reporting periodically my convoy status. I will get conclusions after the first month working with my system. If needed I will change, but I am sure that I will get more escorts when the NEI campaign end.
About aircrafts, I increase the production of Val (+24)and Kates (+32) the first day. I will check my production status for changes at Jan 1st. My beginning production plan for the first stage of the war is increase the aircraft production to 886 aircraft / month at beginning of April and 1.047 to the beginning of June. I will report more about it.
Thanks for reply.
Best wishes and good luck with your campaign.
