German Aircraft Production Question

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

German Aircraft Production Question

Post by TNTRNR »

In the old BTR, the German player could attempt to manage the aircraft production by allocating resources to different models and even attempt to bring about advances earlier in the game (e.g., Me262). Is that no longer part of the game? Not that I miss it--it was a very difficult skill to master. I just don't want to be missing something if it's there.

It's still there. I made changes to the code to allow you to change one production line in a factory without stopping others, and also allowed changes from one mark of a type to the next in line to be faster, but only if the machine was available.

So if you change the Fw190A(x) (x is 8 off the top of my head. I'm not a grognard) factories to Fw190D on day one it will take 10 days per point of production (and then you have to research), but if you wait till the 190D is buildable then it would take 5 days per point of production.

Then maybe I'm slower than most think....I didn't see it in the manual, and I didn't find a menu for it on the screen. I'll keep pokin' around.

Great work, by the way!

Off the top of my head List Targets > then at the top there's a production button. It's been a while since I needed to do it in anger.

Hard Sarge has answered this on the other production thread:

Here's the link Link
John Dillworth: "I had GreyJoy check my spelling and he said it was fine."
Well, that's that settled then.
