No music or SFX

Weird problem. Everyone else is having graphics and performance issues. My game is fine there. My problem is that the game has no music and no SFX. No air to air combat, no bomb hits, no aircraft engine noise, no crashing aircraft sound. Nothing.
I have the volume turned up to max in the game options.

I have Vista 64 and a Creative X-Fi card. I will see what I can do on my end. If anyone has any suggestions I am glad to hear them.

just in case, do you have SFX or music turned on ?

right side, bottom two buttons, they will be highlighted and look like they are pushed in, to be turned on ???

I don't see the buttons you are talking about. [&:]
Under the options screen all I see are the SFX and Music buttons that can be set 0-100%

I should have mentioned. I get the 'click' SFX whenever I use the mouse button.

You can close the file on this one. I just found them. They are in the game itself and not the options screen. Odd they are not on by default.

it is the way the buttons work, they got to be depressed to be "on"
