Ford Truck

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Ford Truck

What is that used for in BTR?

I would guess the could be used for the either panzer og Gep. Grenadier Divsions, OR they could be used for some internal movements.

There are 2 factories producing those, in the 1943 campaign.

IIRC they are in the game as generic armament factories (eg the one in Belgium) - so yes, abstracted representation of softskin motor transport. Fords were even more ubiquitous on both sides than many people realise - the Soviet GAZ trucks were based on Ford components, for example. The Romanians based their late war TACAM tank destroyers on captured T-60s since they were the one model of Soviet AFV for which they could easily source mechanical spares, since the T-60 used GAZ engines, which were basically Fords, and the Romanians had a Ford subsidiary plant of their own, with further spares available from plants across Occupied Europe.
