Is the army you have defeated a couple times the one that was in Austria and took a huge hit from its supply lines being cut?

I think France came at you a bit too aggressively and should have waited a few months for that force to recover and then moved on you with its forces fully recovered at the very least if not with it's two larger armies united.

Could you post a SS of the country details screen from the diplomacy board next month? I was surprised to see Russia and Austria with such low manpower and wanted to see if that continues to dip. Speculation on my part is that they are both pumping out infantry to deal with multiple fronts and operating at a high draft level?

The one from Austria was the Armee du Centre which I hit a couple times. It now appears to have joined the Armee du Mid in Paris. I wanted to try and hit it again before he got organized there, but was probably pushing my luck. The one I just defeated with the Italians is the Armee du Nord.

Here's the requested SS:

After the successful defense of Parma, the Italian Army goes on the offensive in a counter attack on Lombardy- scoring another great victory against the Armee du Nord and retaking Milan!

I decide to purchase the Cavalry Pursuit upgrade which takes advantage of the large numbers of Spanish light cavalry, predicting victory at the second Battle of Lombardy, and wanting to inflict as many casualties as I can.

French National Morale took a beating this month and I appear to have regained the momentum.

The situation... I am also keeping a close eye on the war between Austria and Turkey.

The important news of note this month is that war lapses between Spain and Russia. This was expected since we really had no reason to be at war and this was only due to the treaty agreement between Russia and France.

The Spanish Army ended its move out of supply, taking some more attrition hits. The Armee du Nord successfully avoids the attempted pursuit by the Italian Army.

Spain occupies Turin and Lyon and keeps French National Morale from rebounding this month.

The Armee du Nord evades the Spanish Army after a mistake on my part. I had thought they would need to march through Guyenne, but instead they were able to march into Poitou. A shame because I really wanted to capture some more French divisions and keep them from reforming.
