Cannot download patches

Hello,
I am having a problem downloading ANY patches from ftp.matrixgames.com. Every request times out. I have tried this both PASV and PORt and I have tried this on two computers on the same network (one with XP and one with Vista). I have tried to download with my fire wall off and still no luck. Since this is happening on two different computers, my initial guess is that it has to do with my router configuration. I have added port forwarding for ports 20-21 but it still didn't solve the problem. I have also since gotten an FTP program but it doesn't seem to give any more detail regarding my problem.

Have you tried to DL the patches from other sites like The Scolls or SubSim?

Thank you for the site reference but I don't see the two games recently updated (WITP -Admirals Edition or Empires in Arms) on that website.

Hello,
I finally found out what I had to do to get FTP to work. I had to reboot my router. For people reading this and experiencing the same issue, the method to try this would be dependent upon your router's manufacturer and model. To be restate, I rebooted my router which does NOT mean recycle my cable modem.

I'm not trying to be a smart-arse, but was there a reason you didn't want to download the patches from the members area of the Matrix Games site?

No offense taken. I couldn't download from ftp.matrixgames.com (or any ftp site anywhere) including from the members site.

The whole ftp site was down yesterday afternoon, evening and night. Seems to be working now.
