manual question

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

manual question

Post by vonRocko »

Hello.
When you add bombers to a raid, and a list of available bombers comes up, the manual says "The additional bomber units appearing here are a small selection of units the game considers best suited to accompany the lead unit on its mission". Same thing for fighters.
Does that mean there are other bomber/fighter units available that are not on the list? And if so, how do I access them?
Thanks

I think that is just being a little fancy, you get a list of the units that could fly the mission

there may be other units out there, but for some reason, they can't fly that mission, wrong plane type, out of range, what not

so like a B-17, any B-17 in that command, should be able to fly the mission, as long as the rest of the "stuff" matches up

now, not every unit can lead, but there shouldn't be anything to stop a unit from flying as a follower (other then as above)
