Why are my Pilots bailing out...

...after they shoot somebody else down? It happens pretty regularly: "P51B of 4th FG bouncing Me410"... "Me410 destroyed"..."Lieutenant Harley Sarge bails out and is captured." Something like that.

Are they so filled with remorse that they throw themselves out of the plane? Or are they whooping it up in the cockpit so much that they accidently throw the hood off and fall out?

It's hard enough to keep these guys alive without losing them when they WIN a combat!

come on Carlos, that is a old one from the old forum

did you see any other planes shot down or crash before that ?

the program takes time to catch up, you will also see FW Carlos shoots his 6th plane down, when a 109 gets knocked down, the program didn't have time to tell you before about your kill, and is catching up now, most times those happen on crashes when alot if going on

Heh, well I am definitely an oldish one from the old forum. I guess that I sort of remember that now.

Now, why can't my RN patrol boats pick up some of my pilots in the Channel?

you never were good with old die roll, it is all random

on the wish list to add in some evaders, but...

Do you mean I cannot expect to see Zemke return after his escape? ...after being shot down on Turn 1!

After all that test pilot guy did it and did OK when he got back. "The first time I saw a jet I shot it down." Five in one day but two of them bailed out on him. He got 4 in one day a couple weeks back but hasn't scored since.

The 2nd FS is my star performer right now. Gotta love 'em. Morale of 99 and bring back many kills on every trip. The problem is forcing them to rest. They can fly three days in a row and still be 90+ morale.
