Would I be right in assuming that Turkey Day isn't exactly welcomed by Canada's turkey population then? [;)]

Happy Turkey day.  And in honour of Turkey Day 2009, out here on the Wet Coast we're having homemade pizza and beer!

Its a good thing to gorge yourself a few times a year-no more enjoyable way to show your appreciation for your homeland.

It puts a smile on my face just to think of it-hams, yams, turkey, stuffings, weird stuff, and pies-can't wait.

Happy turkey day to the great white north.

Last evening was the night of gorging...tonight is the night of gorging on leftovers. [:D]

It's the one day of the year Canadians take a break from cannibalism. Turkeys are dispatched according to Canadian tradition - they are bludgeoned to deth with a boat hook.

Nonsense...maybe back in the old days! Today we cut their throats with a sharpened skate blade.
