Looking for Japanese Opponent

Post by rubisco »

Hi!

I have one PBEM going as the Japanese and it has just converted from a 1v1 to a 2v1 game, so the turn rate has slowed a little. I therefore would like to start a new PBEM as the Allies. This will be my first PBEM as the Allies and so I'm looking for a moderately experienced Japanese player who is willing to go the distance. I don't intend to start a PBEM and not finish it please. I can do about 5 to 7 turns a week on average and would expect similar from my opponent.

I'd like to play scenario 1 with the following options:

FOW: ON
Advanced weather: ON
Allied damage control: ON
PDU: OFF
Historical first turn: OFF
December 7th surprise: ON
Reliable USN torpedoes: OFF
Realistic R&R: ON
No unit withdrawals: OFF
I have a strong preference for playing without combat animations, but am willing to concede at a push
Turn cycle: 2 days

House rules:

1) Units attached to restricted commands may not cross borders (to and from India, Burma, Thailand, China, Manchuria etc)
2) LCUs may not be assigned to air HQs (excepting those that start assigned so)
3) All locations that require a garrison must be garrisoned fully if practicable, i.e. they cannot be deliberately abandoned.
4) The Allied player may not create new taskforces on the first turn.

PM me if you're interested!
