"Fragments" Bug

Post by Montbrun »

v1084 - Campaign Game

The left-over fragments issue is really starting to be a PITA. It's erratic, and doesn't seem to be repeatable, or consistent. 1-3 Motorized Support Devices seem to get "stuck" on transports, making that transport unusable until the device is somehow unloaded:

Save:

[There are also units at Hilo (109th USN BF) and at Lunga (1st Marine Raider Bn) that I was unable to get to recombine, no matter what I did. These units also have the "0,0" bug. I'm currently hauling the 298th Infantry Rgt to Lahaina to try and clear a similar bug.]

I had that happen with the Canadian Rifles that I evacuated from Hong Kong to PH. At first I thought they were just pissed at being at sea for a long time. However, I finally got them to leave the ship by first creating a new TF with just the ship in question, then I set it to load, then when full, I unloaded it and the Canadian Rifles (must of been about 10 of them) finally disembarked to sample the delights of PH. As always in AE, ymmv.

I have a fragment of a HQ unit. One part is at a top secret base, one part is on a ship, and still another on a another top secret base. The last fragment will not show up on the base display unless one clicks on the base to find this left over unit. [X(][&:]

Your problem is too many top secret bases! Change it to an Ultra secret base and the problem should go away.

Any chance of posting the save here.
I wouldn't have expected the entry to be blank as that can muck up the sorting.
