Reinforcement Squadrons

I remeber in the old game that reinforcement squadrons, (those with a delayed arrival), arrived with no A/C and had to be re-filled from the pool. (Well, they had 1 A/C but I assume this was a place holder). Is this the same? I need to know weather I can convert some plane types or weather I need to keep the reserves in the pool for future groups.

If they do arrive with just 1 plane and re-fill from the pool I have many Spit Vc squadrons arriving in the Med that will probably never be filled out [:'(]

I've seen them all come in (Allies, BTR) at full strength so far. For the couple that I changed aircraft they took a day or two to come up to strength.
