Hmmm . . . . I assume you're always on double-secret probation.

Pretty much always......but I think that I might get off soon...On probation! [:D]

I hope and pray for that day. [;)]

Speaking of the origin of the term 'double-secret probation', there was a show about the making of Animal House on recently (Biography or something similiar). Do you realize that the movie only cost 3m or so? I know we're talking 1979 dollars, but compare that price to what it costs to produce the collosal shite opening today. What a bargain. Amazingly the producers were only able to obtain that financing because it 'starred' a bankable actor, Donald Sutherland.

What did you do now?

True, so very true.....Do you suppose that I can fit that in as a sig banner? And my quote line can be "ST>Stephen, patron saint of lost and foolish causes".?[:D]

It'll be easy enough to do, but there may be some sort of copyright legalness stuff attached. They don't seem too fussed about people posting the images as long as it's clear where it's from, there is an email you could use to ask though.

And seeing as I've cleared my schedules now, apart from a couple of ED/BTR PBEMs and my ongoing messing about with game artwork...

I've got time to start an AE PBEM game, I figure that if I start it now I'll be able to continue after wee un turns up.  If I tried to start it after that things wouldn't work quite as well...

It snowed here tonight [:)]

I noticed that as I watched the Horror Show that was televised yesterday. It was snowing as the Patriots absolutely beat down/humbled the footbal team formerly known as the Titans, now called the Tennessee Titties.

Aces, I really like your new avatar! And Chickenboy, nice sig banner!

One of these days I need to spend a couple of days and figure out how to do that. [:)]
Thanks, AW1Steve. Really, though, the artistic genius behind it is DivePac88. Thanks again, DivePac88, you rock!

With all due respect, Stuman, if they were the Tennessee Titties, they'd be a whole lot more entertaining to watch...[;)]

Having just wasted an hour trying to install a sig banner that the Incredible Dixie kindly made for me, I just discovered that I really am tooo stupid to own a computer tithe. Back to the research I was supposed to be doing anyhow. [:(]

Sounds like a man crush...

I had to resurrect this posting in order to give credit where credit is due. DivePac88 is my benefactor on the siggy. DivePac88, THANK YOU![&o]

Unfortunate Warship Name Tithe... Today's entry: HMS Cockchafer.[X(]

How juvenile [8|]

But I still smiled...[:D]

The Royal Navy has used some odd names through the years.
Dixie,

Any navy that includes excellent names such as "Vengeance, Revenge and Warspite" is allowed to have some "Decoy"s and "Glowworm"s mixed in there. It's a much more interesting way to name ships than naming them after dead Presidents, IMO.
