The battle of Medjerda is almost forgotten, but was fought against highly disciplined German troops and blasted a route straight to Tunis it was a perfect infiltration battle and should be remembered as the best fought British battle of the war.

Unfortunately I don't have such a save. Looking at the save I do have, I I realize that perhaps it was a Belgian corps, not a 'Belgian regiment' though the strength was correct. I suppose I tend to look for discrepancies in this game. If Ralph has the stamina to completely revamp it, I think any issues will be rectified either by an augmentation, fix, or a more detailed explanation. In it's current form, I'm not entirely sold on it's absolute accuracy, partially from my own experience and partially from reading all the posts from players who are much more analytic than I pointing out questionable outcomes. There are many results I'm dissatisfied with. This was one that I felt was simply not accurate.

A save file would have been nice, as even if it was a Belgian Corps, those units are rather fragile.
I have a thought, however, with 12-15 Corps attacking, how red was the density light on the hexes you were attacking from? Bright red, I would imagine, which would mean combat losses would be multiplied by a factor of a lot, which could go a long way in explaining what happened...

EDIT: Also I kind of apologise for my previous post. I am a little tired of the whining, but often you do have really good points. Especially the naval stuff, which we all agree needs fixing.

Well Wyatt ...you did it. The game is back on now thanks to you. The Germans appear to have recovered nicely from the original losses at Namur. The lesson learned is that even a small amount of expended movement can drastically alter the odds of victory, compounded by the movement cost of the hex attacked.
