My troops don't receive replacements

Post by rominet »

Hi

japanese campaign on vanilla 1.806, i have a trouble.

I have a lot of ARM, MANPOWER in stock.
Many of my troops needs replacements (so replacement allowed) and most of them are in base with a lot of supply.
However, they don't receive nearly any replacements.[&:]
Each day, i use less than 1/3 of the ARM prod.

As an example, the 85th Naval Guard Unit didn't receive any replacements for a while.

There are still other examples with the same trouble in China with units under "Expeditionary China command" ??
So, i don't understand!![&:]

Hello Rominet,

The last column is called "TOE max".  The one before that says "TOE curr".  I am not sure what the table uses to fill those columns, but maximum TOE should be as high as that number can ever become.  Current TOE is the value the unit presently has.  In turn 277, the unit "grew" by one, reaching its maximum.  It should not become any larger.

If you press the "Show TOE" button at the bottom of the unit screen, you should see the maximum allocation of squads and guns for the unit.  If any of those numbers are larger than the numbers the unit presently has, then you would be able to draw replacements.

Hi OldGuard

no, i am not sure of that.

For example, have a look on 86th Naval Guard Unit.
(The 85th is currently on board ships)

First, the history

and the unit

but when i click on the TOE button, i can see that this unit is far from been complete

So, i don't see any reason for which this unit couldn't have 108 SNLF Squad for example.

And i have this trouble with a lot of ground units on map.[&:]

Salut Rominet,

You are correct, it seems.  The "TOE max" column in the table does not show the maximum number of SNLF squads in the TOE of the 86th Guards. It also does not show the 84 squads in the unit.  So, I give up.  I do not know what Tracker is showing us.

I have not played Japan.  As the Allied player, I can see the number of devices or squads available in the pool to be used to rebuild units.  If a depleted unit is in a base with ample supply, near an HQ, etc, it will draw the additional device or squad if they are available.

I don't know how that works with Japan.  You are in a base with supply.  It seems logical for you to gain the strength.

Perhaps someone more familiar with the Japanese side can help.
