You know, the results are exactly what I would expect from an oversized, underprotected merchant convoy docked at a small facility. The designers got it just right here. Two many ships at a small port try to scatter in a panic and total mayhem results.

The detail to the game is amazing. In AE you can still make and use massive cargo and transport convoys but is it wise to send them anywhere but to a large port? In WITP my favorite tactic was to use multiple six to seven surface TF to overwhelm my opponent, but in AE this tactic often results in ships crashing into each other. Brilliant!
