1.08 and 1.07

I was wondering if you could give us a quick update on how 1.08 is going, and when you might make 1.07 an official release.

I am working another BETA 1.07 (We found a few gotchyas) and hope to get that out next week! 1.08 will get the new 1.07 fixes and I hope to begin the PBEM test game soon. Plan is to official 1.07 then implement 1.08 PBEM test game. Most of the coding is done for 1.08 (Been working a lot on the simul diplomacy/eco) so I just need to get it into the hands of the testers and the test game volunteers BUT I would like to do that AFTER I lock down 1.07.

I have another BETA in the oven and should be released to Matrix tomorrow unless the testers find any show stoppers.
1.08 is in my systems test and when 1.07 goes general then 1.08 will go BETA!

Excellent news. Hopefully Matrix can post it quickly, and the official release won't be not far behind so we can get our hands on it.

You got it! This process seems to be much quicker. I have to stop coding on a version a little sooner BUT the benefit is that you get releases quicker.

BTW: This will probably be the release candidate for 1.07 overall! I am ready to BETA 1.08 but don't want to get the cart before the horse!

Good Stuff Marshall. Any idea when we will see kingdoms (OE/COR) able to add new countries to their polity after initial establishment? What about new kingdoms?

Don't know yet! We are doing some "other stuff" first! I have not forgot this though!
