Ground Forces Questions

Post by comte »

I've patched my game to the latest patch and I've noticed that most of the ground forces for the 1922 scenario don't show up for years, how should I be using my limited ground troops that do arrive early? Also I have some troops on the West coast that are locked I need PP to unlock them how fast do the points generate?

You must have started the PBEM scenario 7... it's bugged this way :) What you start with is what you will have.

Spend Chinese freely, they breed very fast.
Keep Americans back. Turn reinforcements off for all but one division / regiment at a time, so it gets all the light tanks and 37mm guns available.
Spend French freely.
Keep British back, their effectiveness doubles in a few months.

PPs generate at 50 a day. Remember, British and French forces don't need to be unlocked, and Australians are much closer to action than Americans. I tend to wait until 1923 with US army - you start getting one unlocked division every couple months.

Don't disregard spending PPs to get better captains.

I am playing the 1922 Grand Campaign the 1st one in the slot [:)] Ok I was getting a little nervous that I'd have no reinforcements for a long time but now your making me feel better Rysyonok[:)] I also took a better look at the reinforcement table tonight I got some US units coming up in the next couple of months. Right now I'm playing the AI historically so I'm not gonna use the British or the French until they are attacked by the Japanese. I must say I'm really enjoying the game I managed to play for about 4 hours last night didn't even realize the time had gone by. Well thanks again for all the help Rysyonok [:D]
