amphibious ?s

Post by freeboy »

ok I cannot figure out this area.. Seems I either load troops in AM sea trans or the other??? and the units vanish?
ok
Seems u need to move the fleets and unload from the fleet menue, after I unloaded the sea transport, was then able to use the invade amphibs!
Not too be critical but a manual, a real multipage with example manual would help!

When you load troops in a transport they vanish from map you have to go in the fleet menu. Then you look at the port where you did load the unit. You should see a transport there, that you can move to other ports only to unload.

To invade you need amphibious points, these can be purchased.

You click on the coastal hex you want to invade. Thus it is from the mainmap, not the naval map that you select the hex for the landing. Once you have selected the hex the small hex menu will have an amphib assault button, which you click. You then will have a pulldown of the unit to land. Repeat the operation for multiple hexes, or land one unit, move it and land another.

If there are no units in the adjacent sea zone you will not be able to land, and if the hex is defended (occupied) you must choose one that is empty.

Hope you can see how now.

Overthehill,

Just click a hex close to casablanca, there will be an icon for amphibious landings.  If you have units loaded aboard amphibious in the sea zone next to Casblanca you will be offered the choice to land them there.
