I'm beginning to like this game better...

Ok. Been playing this game for some time now and I am happy to report that I am now liking this game more than WitP. More and more, I find myself playing a turn of EDBTR and forgeting about by ongoing WitP AE campaign as the days go by.

The reasons for my change of heart are:
1) I am very interested in air combat.
2) More focused / limited game. No economic managment and logistics.
3) Quick gratification. More enjoyable in playing one day at a time. In WitP, I need to play a week to have a taste of satisfaction and a sense of achievement as operations take quite long to unfold.
4) Shorter campaigns. We have 1 day, 1 week, 1 month. Witp mostly has vairants of the grand campaign.

Now I just need to learn how to play defending side to fully appreciate the game.

I have been playing for over 2 years and I am not ready to play the defense side yet. Too much fun Locking Horns with the Luftwaffe in Bombing The Reich at least IMHO. [8D]

Although WITP is on my Christmas List. [:D]

I wish I could talk Harley and the others into building this out like Battle of Britain II Wings of Victory where you can jump into aircraft and actually fly the missions or interecepts you build. But that would be a Huge undertaking. But man... just think of it....[8D]
