IA ships in port semi-invulnerable?

Post by vlcz »

I knew about IA ability to bring ships to a port where “he” wants to build a TF , but this situation is beginning to be a little strange…

I own Palembang and the base north of it, Palembang has 7 liberator air units based and there are fighters and albacores in naval strike –making ton after ton of sinked xAKs- at the other base. Paired with a heavy sub curtain sings is quite isolated.

The liberators are bombing daily Singapore´s port (total air supremacy as there is no IA air unit near, even no AA, so 7000’ altitude unopposed and deadly bombings) they have scored LOTS of hits to ships over there , ships that appear and disappear from the ether each turn…. But they only sink small ships (who can be sinked in one attack).

Most annoying is BB Hiei situation, it have been there every day (10+ days now) it is hit massively everytime , repeatedly reported as heavily damaged and/or heavy fires… but it stays there, seemingly unscathed each new day….

As this has been for a long time I have almost discarded fow so…...is this a known bug/intended feature? If not so I will (even if I really hate that) change sides to have a look at it

Ships in a harbor are hard to hit except by air.  I had the Enterpriose trapped at Tulagi and she was almost immune to my bombardment attacks.  Finally spooked her out and the Yamato got her.

IA? [:D] I'm going to guess we have someone who speaks one of the Latin tongues natively. Took this English speaker for a double-take there.
