Desktop icons, japanese and allies

Post by Nikel »

Hi.

Here are a pair of icons, you can use them for the game itself, tracker, staff,... Only tested in W7, Vista. Not sure that will work on XP

Got the pictures on the wikipedia, credits to the authors, Alex Tora

To use them, unzip the .ico files. Right click in the respective shortcut in your desktop. Click on properties, change icon and browse to where you unzipped the .ico file.

ORIGINAL: Nikel

Probably a stupid question Tomlabel [;)], but what did you mean with the spares?

Here is an example of what's included. It helps to differentiate nationalities (if you like) and also includes matching map icons as well (but you will have to replace the national flag).

Graphics from the wikipedia, credits to the authors.

The first is the Standard and Insignia of an admiral of the Imperial Japanese Navy

The second is the Standard of the Emperor of Japan with the Kanji of the IJN on the sides

TOMLABEL, oh, I see that in the art folder there are 5 files called mapicons_spare1-5 and 12 more for the different countries. These graphics are so small that they are very difficult to mod. Did you create them?
