Rail movemeint problems

Post by jackyo123 »

i dont seem to fully undertand rail movement.

for example - I *cannot* move troops from Normanton in Aussie to, say, Townsville (or anywhere else) - gives me 'unable to reach target' whenever i try a stratgic move from there.

And yet - when you press 'R' to see the railroad lines, there CLEARLY is a line connecting Normanton to the railway network.

So why cannot I send troops via rail/major road from Normanton?

ahh, how stupid of me! I thought 'R' was for rails! But still - why would they not get the 'will travel by major roads' message when using strategic movement? Clearly there is a road! And yet - no go, from Normantion to Townsville.

You can definitely go from Townsville to Normanton in stratigic mode - uses major road - I've just moved an LCU there

Just gone back in to my gc game and i can sent all 3 LCU's at Normanton to Townsville in stratigic mode - all give message - using major roads
