Modding Weather

Post by AH4Ever »

A couple of questions about mud_area.csv & winter_area.csv:

Is there any need to have the weather cover sea hexes?

Can the time periods be altered, changed to weeks instead of months?

Can the # of months be increased to simulate changing weather over a span of years?

OK 3 questions

In current version (1.6) all answers are "no". Of course everything can be changed in code, but I'm sure there are more important things in TODO list.

I discovered weather.csv in my saved game directory where it eventually generates it's own entries to effect the weather in specific hexes.

How does weather.csv work?

What factors generate the the data?
