carrier planes-off map issue

I sailed the Hornet down to Panama when it arrived while waiting for escorts I noticed the pilots weren't training, I unloaded them to the land base to train [I'm almost positive they didn't train] but when the escorts arrived the planes wouldn't load back aboard ship. Feeling like I'm in a chinese fire drill I sent the carrier planes back to the east coast by transfer and the hornet to the west coast. Once the carrier planes arrived on the east coast I had enough SBDs to upgrade the units and did so, then transfered all planes to the WC port where Hornet is located. Problem is they won't load docked or undocked. trying one more thing which leads me to my second problem.

Early in the game my opponent sailed his carriers down to Brisbane and attacked shipping, I had a ton of shipping at Melbourne and glad he didn't go that far. I had no fighters to help at all so I figured hey, Yorktown is in S.D. I'll load up all the Army fighters she can handle get them to Oz asap via the canal and Capetown and when she gets back to Capetown from Oz her planes will be sitting there waiting for her to help augment the Indian Ocean carrier force. problem is they won't load docked or undocked either on a CV or AK, I'm somehow expecting that if they take the long transfer route back to the states I will end up with the same problem I'm faced with Hornet. Is this a bug? Any help or assistance is extremely appreaciated.

Apparently their HQs were changed to West Coast (R) during the shipment process, It's going to cost me 314 PPs to load them back aboard a carrier [:@] and no option for an independent HQ.

Training from disbanded ships will be allowed in patch 2 so you wont need to move them from ships.
