This save blows up

Post by JohnDillworth »

Hi,
the attached save keeps blowing up when I execute a turn. Worked fine last turn on my windows XP machine but now it will not finish the turn without a hard crash. Moved the save over to a different machine (Windows 7) and got the same result. thought it might be related to the airgroup of 122 a-24's in Karachi, but even when I disbanded that group I got the same result. Ideas?
thanks

I don't suppose you have a save from before the group arrived.
When you mentioned the group arriving with 122 planes, I could not see anything that might have caused that.

You have quite a number of groups without an airframe defined.
Do you have a save from before this one?

[edit: A/c slots from about number 409 have become corrupted!!!]

I forced the database changes which restored the aircraft array; at least most of the values.

Attached is a save after loading it. The missing planes are now back.
If you go to Karachi, you shouldn't have the blank air group icons in the lower panel that existed in save 003.

It still would be best if you could go back to an older save and check that it looks okay. I am hoping the corruption occurred in the last save you made, rather than being an ongoing thing.

Thanks, I did have an earlier save and have used it for about 20 turns with no problem Don't know how this became curroped but it did not happen again so I jut write it off to "one of those things"
BTW, I still have my a-24 supergroup!
thanks
