TF loading 'freezes' on certain troop loads

Post by jackyo123 »

ive seen troop loading 'stop' for some reason (though still says 'loading troops' from time to time, mostly (not always) large, 50k ton TF's carrying multiple lcus. They will get to about 65%, then freeze and go no ruther. trying to stop the unloading and sailing with the gragments doenst work. only completely disbanding and doing again provides relief

has anyone else seen this?

I think this was fixed for patch 2.  I recall a bug that was similar that was fixed.

ok, cool. I've got the bug at ADAN right now, seems that every troop load there goes to about 3/4 full and then freezes. Very annoying as i need those forces.

Could be the supply level at Aden is too low to support loading the TF and loading comes to a halt.

I've seen the same thing at Aden. When the supply gets low the loading rate drops. The first wave of transports left trouble-free with tons of supplies too. Then the second wave of transports had problems loading so I send them off half sized units to Karachi and brought back some supply with me. Also some supplies were moved from Abandan. Now the third wave of transports is loading without any problems.

no, definitely not supply related. Have over 20k of supplies in Aden, and also have 'turn on troop load only' so supply doesnt load with them. Its definitely a bug, and someone said it's been fixed in P2. Ive had it happen to me in San Diego as well, with over 100k of supply.
